22th Jun 2023 is the Dragon Boat Festival in China. To celebrate this festival, our company gave each staff a red packet and close one day.
In Dragon Boat Festival we will make the rice dumpling and watch the dragon boat match. This festival is to commemorate a patriotic poet named Quyuan. It was said that Quyuan was death in the river so people throw the rice dumpling into the river to avoid Quyuan’s body bit by others. People was wanner to rescue Quanyuan so many boats are paddling in the river. This is the reason now eating rice dumpling and have the dragon boat match in this festival.
Nowadays, rice dumpling have many different types, sweet and salt, wrap with banana leaf, bamboo leaf etc, inside with meat, beans, salt egg yolk, chestnut, mushroom etc. Do you feeling wannato eat when reading this news?
